The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the notification for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2020 on the official website. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for the examination through the official website.

The minimum qualification for appearing in the UPTET is a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant subject with a minimum of 45% marks. Candidates who have cleared their B.Ed. examination are also eligible to apply.

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board for candidates who wish to become teachers in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The test is held every year and the notification for the same is released a few months before the exam date. The UPTET 2020 notification is expected to be released in the month of October 2020.

The eligibility criteria for Paper II is that the candidate must have completed 10+2 with at least 50% marks and must have completed a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education/2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).

Candidates who successfully meet the eligibility criteria will be able to apply for the UPTET 2020 exam when the notification is released. The application process will be online and candidates will have to fill in the application form and submit it along with the required documents.

The application fee for the UPTET 2020 exam is Rs 600 for general candidates and Rs 400 for SC/ST candidates. Candidates will have to pay the application fee through SBI e-Collect.
